There's so much to explore in this wonderful land and so much to take in. I often feel I must absorb every sight, sound, texture and smell on these trips.
Sometimes I make the mistake of looking at the overpowering grandness of it all and forget about the beauty in the seemingly small and inconsequential flora and fauna. I've tried to keep a balance in my photo journal and am glad I did so. This trip I delighted in lichens, flowers, anemones, crabs and all the other little creatures of the tidal pools.
